Russia's Golden Ring is the name of 700-kilometre-long bus route beginning in Moscow and passing through the old Russian towns of
Vladimir - Suzdal - Kostroma - Yaroslavl -
Rostov-the-Great - Sergiev Posad
Day 1: Arrival in Vladimir. Lunch. Sightseeing tour of Vladimir, once the capital of the Vladimir-Suzdal principality, and known for its XII th century white stone buildings : the Cathedrals of the Assumption and of St.Demetrius, the Golden Gate, visit to the museum of local applied arts. Transfer to Suzdal. Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner.
Day 2: Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Susdal- the unique museum town with magnificent monuments of Russian stone and wooden architecture of XIII-XVIII cent., rich icon and applied art collection, bell music concert. Lunch at a restaurant old Russian style or at a peasant family house. Departure for Kostroma. Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner.
Day 3: Breakfast. City tour of Kostroma, visit of the city's principle attraction- Ipatievsky monastery - Tzars Romanovs' dynasty cradle. Leave Kostroma for Yaroslavl. Lunch. City tour of Yaroslavl - to view magnificent architectural ensemble of XVI-XVIII cent. Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner.
Day 4: Breakfast. Departure for Rostov-the -Great. Tour of the Kremlin with visit to enamel works exhibition. Transfer to Sergiev Posad. Lunch. Sightseeing tour of the Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Laura - one of the most important monasteries and Russian greatest religious center. Departure.
