Russia is well known for its strong hunting traditions. The famous Russian dukes were accompanying Russian Tsar during his hunting. You have the unique chance to take part in such hunting.
The tour starts with driving from Moscow to Mozhaysk - an ancient town 2 hours drive from Moscow. The guests will be met at the gates of Luzhetskiy male monastery with Russian traditional "bread and salt". After greetings and Monastery tour the guest will be taken to the hunting base by the traditional Russian transportation the horse drawn troika.
The horses are ready, the dogs are crying of no patience...
The hunting stuff are in the real costumes of the 19th century.
And after light lunch the guest will be invited to take a horse (no special horse riding skills required as the horses will be forwarded by professional stuff) or to be taken by Troika, to drink the "departure" glass of vodka (the sign of successful hunting) and the hunting will be started.
The guests will take a part in a 1 hour performance showing the real Tsar hunting (sure 1 hour is not enough to let the dogs to catch any animal but it could be done by a lucky occasion).
After the hunting the guests will be invited for a tea party when will be taken for lunch at "Gusarskiy Club" restaurant decorated with the attributes of Borodino battle.
After lunch the guests will be taken for Borodino Museum with the visits to Borodino battle field and Spaso-Borodinskiy Monastery.
After the excursion the guest will be driven to Moscow.
The duration of this program is 11 hours.
The cost of this program is 95 USD/p.p., and it includes transportation from Moscow and guide services, meals as per program and the entrance tickets.
For a small groups the 19th century costumes could be provided for the guests also.
